We held a game, played a role
on the sidewalk. Built a stall, I was a pop.
Saw people patiently clutching coins, queuing for the rice.
The next game, I brought mango
you craved.
ran to your side even hard for me
to stand up,
my back ached. Stones, irons, woods, lifted up.
No protest, that’s the role I was given,
right?
It was not easy, but we never missed.
your wise word, your faith
keeping me there. Turning
the wheels even harder,
never stopped.
In the cold afternoon
The game was ruined
Somnambulism boy crushed.
His eyes were closed, knowing nothing
but threw his white car, hit you.
You ain't speak, cried, sob.. breathless.
Mother said it was yours, the boy was innocent. Mother mad, you blamed.
But did I know anyone? No
They just stared, whispered.
I looked at you, withno
dare to move. Why my eyes as wet as
yours but yours were red.
Blood is red?
And why are you now moving
into another house?
Don't you love me? It cold there,
why are you choosing there?
But do you know the answer is?
No one wants to be alone, pigeons also starting to make their new nest.
Sounds unfair? But it is who I am
no complain.
